Being on intermittent fasting has been a good journey for me.
I lost 23 percent of my body weight, that is, 47 pounds in 7 months. That is phenomenal. I never thought I could have done 10 percent before fasting. So, when I hit that goal, I was ecstatic. Plus, my BMI has gone from 40 to 31. My blood pressure is in the normal range. My A1C has gone from 6.4 to 5.4. All the results are incredible!
Before intermittent fasting, I was addicted to overeating and put on weight. I ended up developing pre-diabetes conditions. Blood pressures started going up. The weight kept going on and pretty soon before I knew it. I gained almost a hundred pounds. None of those things I tried worked.
× HCG diet – driving me to be fatigue
× Jenny Craig – didn’t like the food
× Nutrisystem – didn’t like the food, either
× Weight watchers – on and off for years
× Keto – not working and expensive
…
The common denominator behind all of them: they weren’t sustainable, and I needed to do something extra to drop pounds.
However, intermittent fasting did make a difference.
Intermittent fasting is not a diet. I don’t need to intentionally curb my hunger because, in the eating window, I am allowed to eat everything I like. No extra Legos are needed but adjust how they are combined. That’s handy!
Soon, a fasting assist tool, makes the effect of intermittent fasting phenomenal.
I have a coach. She reminds me to start and end fasting at the right time. She takes care of my sleep. She recommends the drinks, food, and recipes. She encourages me to do a simple exercise. It’s everything combined for my overall wellness. And that’s what I love about it. This is going to be the way I keep the weight off is to follow the core principles of intermittent fasting and the relationship between fasting and weight loss. What I really appreciate about Soon is it cut your goal into small pieces.
I started from 12:12, then 14:10, and next 16:8 and the whole process has helped me cut 47 pounds. It helps me curb my hunger. It also helps me stay in control and not overeat. So I feel way more in control of my relationship with food than I did before.
I have the strength to do more. Intermittent fasting has helped me to eliminate high cholesterol medications. My A1C has improved and my general doctor is so pleased with the weight loss and my health in general. The end result has been the real me coming out for the first time in all my years.
My family is so proud of me and what I’ve been able to accomplish. When I go by a mirror, and I look sometimes I have to do a double take.
Girl, you did good.
